It is a great pleasure to present wines from Atlantic coast in Riga. VICENTINO vines are located just above the Atlantic ocean and grapes are enriched by Portuguese sun, saltines of the ocean and freshness of the morning fog. Peculiar work of wine maker Bernardo Cabral permits to create excellent wines in the old world with the new approach.
VICENTINO wine tasting was held in elegant premises of hotel Bergs accompanied by detailed explanations of the wine maker and finger food prepared by chefs of the restaurant Bergs to match each wine. My favourite of the day - elegance of PINOT NOIR with black chocolate truffle with hazelnut.
